The 2022 Scion FRS is a sports coupe comes in a single trim level. The standard 2022 Scion FR-S equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, air conditioning, full-power accessories, height-adjustable driver’s seat, flexible and telescopic leather steering wheel, cruise control, rear camera, Bluetooth phone and audio. Apart from the exterior color and transmission options, the Scion does not offer factory options for the FR-S. 2022 Scion FRS : Interior
The 2022 Scion FR-S has little preference for style or luxury in the salon. It’s just an environment that emphasizes driving because of the mix of distribution devices and materials from Toyota and Subaru. The 2022 FR-S’s front seats are comfortable for long-distance travel, while also firmly supporting hard driving. Drivers of almost any size can find a suitable driving space, and the low-profile bonnet gives a wide view of the road ahead.
Scion will update its touchscreen-based audio system this year, so if you don’t really want navigation and smartphone app integration into the BeSpoke system, there may be less reason to go. The Scion 2022 FRS trunk space is minuscule, measuring 6.9 cubic feet, but lowering the back seat, which is largely useless, significantly expands the carrying capacity.
2022 Scion FRS : Engine
The 2.0-liter horizontally four-cylinder engine, which produces 200 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque, is the only power plant for the Scion FRS. Buyer can add it to a standard six-speed gearbox or to a paddle shifter with a six-speed automatic and the corresponding down shifts. In the Edmunds brake test, the Scion FR-S stopped at 117 feet at 60 miles. This is a respectable distance, but slightly more than the average for a car with summer tires. In government crash tests, the Scion FR-S received five out of five stars for overall protection from a car crash, four stars for complete protection from a frontal accident, and five stars for safety from side effects. The Institute for Motor Vehicle Safety Insurance gave it the best rating in tests that moderately overlapped, had side effects, roof strength, and held the head. In a small overlapping frontal-offset test, 2022 Scion FRS received a second-highest score of acceptable.
