The 2026 Bugatti Bolide is a limited-edition hypercar designed exclusively for track use and not intended for public roads. The 2026 Bugatti Bolide is built in a super-light carbon fiber monocoque body. The Bugatti Bolide is powered by a modified version of the famous W16 engine with four turbochargers. Pushing the boundaries of engineering without following road rules, the Bolide is designed for extreme track performance. The 2026 Bolide Bugatti features aggressive aerodynamic body features, including a roof-mounted air scoop and a large rear diffuser, which produce extraordinary downforce.

The 2026 Bolide uses a high-performance pushrod suspension design and Formula One-derived carbon-fiber racing brakes for superior handling and braking power. The Bugatti Extreme focuses on comfort features such as climate control and power steering to enhance the track experience for the driver and co-driver. Production of the Bolide is limited to just 40 units, all of which are customer-delivered. The unit price of the Bolide is around €4 million.

Inside, the 2026 Bugatti Bolide features a track-focused, minimalist cockpit that eschews decorative elements typically found in road cars, such as the Bugatti Chiron, instead prioritizing functionality and streamlined manufacturing. The design is built on a new, strong carbon fiber monocoque, which allows for a unique, low-lying seating position with high heels, similar to a high-end LMP1 race car. This functional design is combined with Bugatti’s signature style, including a multi-function, removable, yoke-style steering wheel and simple climate control surfaces that reflect the car’s “X-theme” exterior and exhaust pipe design.

Bugatti is performance-oriented, and the Bugatti Bolide’s cabin still offers owners a level of comfort and extensive customization. The rigid carbon fiber seats are mounted directly to the monocoque and can be adjusted to the driver’s body shape in one of four sizes. Customers can choose from seat cushions in high-quality materials such as Alcantara, Nappa leather, or suede; detail options such as variable curvature or laser perforation are also available. To ensure the right driving position, the steering wheel and titanium pedals are fully adjustable.

The 2026 Bugatti Bolide is powered by a heavily modified version of the legendary 8.0-liter four-turbocharged W16 engine, the final, unadulterated expression of Bugatti’s internal combustion engine era. Unlike the original concept, which produced 1,825 horsepower on 110-octane racing fuel, the production version still delivers a whopping 1,578 horsepower (1,600 PS) and 1,180 pound-feet (1,600 Nm) of torque on regular 98 RON fuel. The engine and its systems are designed for track use, with modified turbochargers and lubrication systems designed to withstand the high temperatures and forces encountered during high-performance track sessions.

The engine’s power is transmitted to a permanent all-wheel drive system via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This provides incredible grip and acceleration, allowing the Bolide to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.2 seconds. All powertrain components are integrated into a super-light carbon fiber monocoque chassis, designed to Le Mans prototype safety standards, helping the car achieve an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. The focus on weight reduction and raw power, pushing beyond the limits of road regulations, makes the Bolide one of the most road-focused supercars ever produced.

The 2026 Bugatti Bolide is designed to meet the world’s most stringent automotive safety standards, specifically the FIA LMH and LMDh regulations used for Le Mans prototype race cars. Its new carbon fiber monocoque body is constructed from high-strength carbon materials and has passed rigorous rollover tests without structural failure, including 7.5 tons of A-pillar load and 12 tons of B-pillar load. To protect the driver, the cockpit features an FIA-approved six-point safety harness, HANS head and neck support system compatibility, and a military-grade automatic fire suppression system. 2026 Bugatti Bolide passive measures are complemented by advanced active technologies such as dedicated ABS and electronic stability control, rarely found in track cars, ensuring the car remains uninhibited even during extreme maneuvers.
