Acura Integra fans may be disappointed with the modern car design, while others see it as an opportunity to get a vibrant, entry-level car without spending a fortune, even a luxury 2023 Honda Civic that fits the sport. Integra will go on sale in three trims, with Integra, A-Spec, and A-Spec technology packages.

The 2023 Integra includes the Acura design language first seen in the Acura MDX. Despite sharing its platform and overall shape with the 2022 Honda Civic hatchback, Honda and Acura don’t share any metal plates. In fact, the Integra Civic is 6.8 inches longer, 1.1 inches wider and 0.2 inches shorter than the Hatchback, but both cars have the same 107.7-inch wheelbase.

2023 Acura Integra : Exterior

Integra means the first use of Acura’s frameless pentagonal grille, a feature that adds clarity to the front of the prototype. Like other Acuras, the grille is surrounded by side-by-side curved LED daytime running lights and pearl-eyed headlights. The most attractive part of the profile is the c-column, where the roofline drops sharply, giving the Integra a classic liftback design. The soft character lines of the rear go well with the rest of the car, while its duck spoiler and dual exhaust rely heavily on the sporty look, and Acura hopes to give it its own Integra.

Integra exterior design was reviewed by a prototype, we see the interior for the first time. There is no need to disguise the Honda Civic’s ties, but the Acura Civic took the best features from the interior and built on it, using extra luxury and unique touches. Among the surprises? The design of the cabin is different from other current models of the Acura, which removes the large, thick rotating knob on the center console to select the driving modes of the cars. The Honda Civic’s thin shift button on the console has been retained to perform the same function.

2023 Acura Integra : Interior

The 2023 Integra standard is equipped with synthetic leather upholstery, heated sports front seats, and an 8-way electric driver’s seat. Acura offers three color choices, including Ebony, Red, and Orchid. The available Technology package includes a 12-way driver’s seat and a 4-way passenger seat, as well as micro, sued coated accents. The A-Spec cars add stainless steel sports pedals, contrasting stitching, and red-sized needles. The Integra interior mirror reflects its exterior design, for example, with diamond mesh inserts for air vents that mimic the grille. Integra’s 107.7-inch wheelbase is the same as the  Honda Civic, meaning the car should have a good seat in the front and rear seats. The rear seat folds flat to open the cargo space, and the 60/40 split allows one seat to stand upright when carrying longer loads.

2023 Acura Integra : Engine

The 2023 Acura Integra is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 200 horsepower and 192 pounds of torque to the front wheels. The CVT transmission is standard but has a six-speed manual with a limited-slip differential. This comes with a bit of convenience, as the guide is only available in top decoration, but it is provided at no charge. Automatic versions get paddle growth devices. If these installations are familiar, it means that they were upgraded from the Honda Civic. However, the turbo engine sport is a version of the Civic Si, like the six-speed manual transmission, while the CVT is derived from the low-power 1.5-liter turbo engine offered in the regular Civic EX and Touring models. Honda does not offer any automatic Si, which makes Integra’s initial-level installation (200 horsepower turbo and CVT) unique. A combination of Si power in a similar hatchback body; The Civic Si is only available as a sedan.

2023 Acura Integra : Safety

The Integra comes with standard AcuraWatch security technology. The blindspot warnings and rear interaction warnings are also standard and a stop sensor system is available in the Technology Kit. The 2023 Acura Integra also has a new generation airbag system designed to better protect the head. Acura notes that airbags help reduce the risk of brain injury and that the Integra aluminum cap has a unique design that distributes shock force with a pedestrian’s head to reduce injuries.
