2022 GMC Acadia
The 2022 GMC Acadia is a crossover SUV manufactured by GM. The 2022 GMC Acadia is a three-seater SUV designed for six passengers, presented in four levels. The Acadia starts with the usual amenities for this class, such as three categories of climate control, an 8-inch touch screen, and a six-speaker sound system. Acadia recipients have full access to premium appointments and features.
The top-line Denali offers perforated leather upholstery, front seats are airy, heated steering wheel, and more. The standard technology to assist drivers includes blind tracking, congestion warning, and rear parking. GMC has SLT and higher automatic braking, front stop sensor, off-line warning, and automatic high beams. A rotating display is available for Denali, ambient cameras, and flexible cruise control.
2022 GMC Acadia : Interior
Inside, the 2022 Acadia cabin usually looks good with soft-touch materials. However, the presence of cheaper-looking plastics keeps Acadia from feeling as high-profile as some of its competitors. The GMC Acadia 2022 interior design is pleasing to the eye and most of the controls are intuitive and driver-friendly. A black-and-white gauge cluster with red needles adds information at a glance. Denali models have a re-adjustable center screen that figures additional information about the car depending on the driver’s settings. Sloping and telescopic steering poles can use more distance to give comfortable space to tall or very short drivers, but this works for most people. The leather-wrapped steering wheels are decorated with aluminum trim. Unfortunately, some interior materials look cheap.
From plenty of USB ports to a Wi-Fi hotspot, Acadia can stay in touch with passengers for the entire family. The touch screen information-entertainment system is sensitive and responsive. It can be difficult to charge multiple devices that require a 12-volt outlet because only one of them is supplied.
All models of the Acadia have three rows, which can accommodate six or seven people, depending on whether you get a second-row captain’s seat or a seat. The front seats are spacious and comfortable, while the second-row seats provide good head and foot space. The seats in the third row aren’t that wide, but adults can return there with relative ease on short trips. Two complete sets of LATCH connectors for Acadia’s second-row exterior seats, as well as an anchor for third-row seats.
2022 GMC Acadia : Engine
The 2022 Acadia trims are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. The SLT is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo that produces 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The AT4 and Denali have a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 316 horsepower. The all-wheel-drive is standard on the AT4 and is optional for everyone except the SL-trim. Each Acadia uses a nine-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with the V6, the Acadia can carry loads of up to 4,000 pounds, allowing you to choose the lightweight function. The 2.0-liter turbo combined drive provides 25 miles of EPA delivery efficiency per gallon.
2022 GMC Acadia : Safety
The one-piece design allows for a lower center of gravity than GM SUVs produced in front-end trucks. Much of the Acadia structure is reinforced with high-strength steel, including a steel carriage beam welded to the floor between the B columns. The Acadia has fitted with six different airbags; two two-stage front airbags for driver and front passengers, a two-seater side-effect airbag in the first row, and a two-seater side-effect airbag covering three seats. Like the Volvo XC90, the Acadia will have a detection system that places various airbags on board. 2022 GMC Acadia also comes standard with the OnStar system.
