The interior is well-crafted with high-quality materials and attention to detail, providing a premium feel, and making the car’s eco-friendly focus. The rear seats fold easily with the help of a strap in the car, and when the seats are lowered, can fit 14 pieces of hand luggage inside. While electric and hybrid vehicles opt for huge screens with touch functionality and plenty of information, the 2021 i3 takes a much simpler approach. All i3 models come with BMW’s iDrive 6 display system with Apple CarPlay integration.. The vehicle also lacks power points, with a single USB port located in the front center console.

2025 BMW i3 : Engine

The 2025 BMW i3 is equipped with an electric motor that runs on electricity stored in a battery and comes in various configurations, including an all-electric version and a range extender version, which includes a small gasoline engine that acts as a generator to provide additional range when the battery is depleted. All-electric driving range of 253 miles, the i3’s 42.2 kWh battery pack pales in comparison to the Bolt EV’s 60.0 kWh battery and 259-mile EPA rating. Likewise, the Model 3 can travel up to 353 miles with its largest battery. The BMW i3 has the optional gasoline-fueled range extension generator, which kicks in when the battery drops to 5 percent charge.  EPA rating, the BMW i3s all-electric is tested, and calculated 102 MPGe on highway fuel economy route.

2025 BMW i3 : Safety

The BMW i3 comes equipped with a strong and lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) passenger cell, which enhances the car’s structural integrity. Advanced safety technologies such as dynamic stability control, anti-lock brakes, and multiple airbags protect occupants in case of a collision. The i3 includes various driver assistance features, like collision warning and pedestrian detection, to help avoid accidents or mitigate their impact. The electric vehicle’s low center of gravity, thanks to the placement of the battery, also contributes to its stability and handling. Overall, the 2024 BMW i3 EV combines innovation and safety to provide a secure and eco-friendly driving experience.
