The 2025 Lincoln Nautilus is a two-row midsize luxury SUV that offers a refined driving experience, a spacious and comfortable interior, and a variety of advanced features. Nearly everything in our Reserve and Black Label test vehicles was covered in soft leather, and the headliner on the Black Label models was covered in faux suede. Although the Nautilus shares the same platform as the Ford Edge, buyers probably won’t guess it. While the vehicles are similarly spacious, Lincoln’s cabin offers more style and ruggedness, with optional 22-way adjustable massage seats, a standard digital instrument cluster, and a push-button gear selector.

The Nautilus’ back seat was a large cargo area that could swallow 12 carry-ons in our testing; That’s two more than the XT5 and three more than the RX350. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and can be had with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. All of the SUVs in this segment are grouped closely when it comes to EPA fuel efficiency estimates; The front-wheel-drive four-cylinder Nautilus paves the way for Lincoln entrants. But what’s surprising is how close the turbocharged V-6 models are to the four-cylinder models. The four-cylinder Nautilus with all-wheel drive is rated at 22 mpg in combined driving, while the V-6 version with all-wheel drive is rated at 21. The all-wheel-drive V-6 Black Label test vehicle was rated at just 24 MPG. The 75 mph highway fuel economy estimate was 25 mpg highway on our test route.
