2017 Land Rover Discovery

2017 Land Rover Discovery is a mid-size luxury SUV, the British car maker Land Rover. There are two generations of the vehicle, the first was launched in 1989 and get a Series II update in 1998. The 2nd-generation, entitled Discovery 3, launched in 2004 and is marketed in North America as the Land Rover was LR3. 2nd-generation model was updated in 2009 as the Discovery 4 Land Rover LR4 for North American markets. The 2017 Land Rover Discovery 5 is currently in pre-production testing and unveiled in the UK on September 28, 2016.

The Discovery Series I was admitted to the United Kingdom in October 1989. The company code-named the vehicle “Project Jay”. The new Land Rover Discovery 2017 model is based on the chassis and drivetrain of the more luxurious Range Rover, but with a lower price which is aimed referred to a larger segment of the market to compete with the Japanese offerings. It was the only Discovery sex with a four-cylinder gasoline engine.

The 3rd-generation Discovery unveiled in the UK on 28 September 2016, the eve of the 2016 Paris Motor Show, and is expected to go on sale in the UK in spring 2017.  Building on shared a platform with the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, the current Discovery leave many of the design traditions of old for a modern design.

The design of 2017 Land Rover Discovery begun by Discovery Vision Concept at the 2014 New York Auto Show, and the production design remains very true to the outside. In profile, the exterior design is very similar to the small Discovery Sport model. Unlike the previous Discovery models, the third generation has a much feed design, eschewing the traditional boxy design. The lights changed from a vertical orientation to horizontal, and the third row side glass blends more into the roof glass. The 2017 Discovery roof is still tread on the third row, but not as drastically as the previous models. The Discovery 2017 interior design borrows from previous generations and other contemporary Land Rover models, while the continuation of the 3-row tradition of Discovery.

The emphasis on fuel economy, while still full off road capabilities along with the usual array of new technology is often seen reserves on new versions of the Discovery. There will be a few new 2 and 3 liters of diesel and petrol engines available. 2017 Land Rover Discovery will have 8-speed automatic transmission.
