The 2027 Honda Prologue is a mid-size electric SUV manufactured by Honda and General Motors. The 2027 Honda Prologue uses the Ultium battery platform, slotted between the CR-V and Passport. The Honda Prologue SUV features a rigid chassis, a spacious interior with standard Google integration technology, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The 2027 Prologue is available with single-motor front-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD).
The 2026 Honda Prologue, with its 85 kWh battery, offers an EPA-estimated range of 308 miles or 294 miles. Inside, the 2027 Honda Prologue’s interior is a clean, modern, and spacious environment for up to five passengers. The cabin features a flat-floor design that maximizes usable space and offers ample legroom, with more than 41 inches of front seat pitch and more than 39 inches of rear seat pitch. High-quality materials are used, with heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control as standard on all trim levels. Prologue higher trim levels, such as Touring and Elite, add additional high-quality touches such as leather upholstery or perforated leather trim, ventilated front seats, and a large sunroof that fills the cabin with natural light.
Honda Prologue is supported by a standard 11-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.3-inch touchscreen. The infotainment system includes Google integration, which provides seamless access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play Store. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard, making smartphone integration easy. For cargo flexibility, the rear seats fold down 60/40, increasing cargo space to 57.7 cubic feet. Additional tech features include a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, a head-up display, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.

Honda Prologue is powered by an advanced electric powertrain built on the GM Ultium platform. The standard single-motor front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration produces 220 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. For those looking for more performance, an available dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup increases total system output to 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. Prologue is power for these motors is provided by an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery.
Prologue’s battery provides a competitive driving range of up to 308 miles for front-wheel-drive models, while all-wheel-drive models offer a range of 283 to 294 miles depending on trim level. When it comes to refueling, the Prologue’s DC fast charging capability makes both everyday commuting and long-distance travel easy, allowing you to add 65 miles of range in about 10 minutes or charge from 20% to 80% in about 35 minutes.

The Honda Prologue prioritizes safety with the standard Honda Sensing® package, a comprehensive suite of driver assistance technologies available on all trim levels. This package includes key features such as Collision Avoidance Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low Speed Follow. The Prologue also introduces some of Honda’s first electric vehicle safety applications, including Blind Spot Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and Rear Pedestrian Alert. Although the 2024 model performed well in the side-impact and center-impact crash tests, it initially failed to earn an IIHS Top Safety Choice award due to a “Borderline” score in the small frontal crash test. 2027 Honda Prologue higher trim levels, such as the Elite, improve visibility and awareness with the available Surround View System and a head-up display.
