2020 Buick Regal Engine
The 2020 Regal Avenir is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 250 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque (295 pound-feet of TourX wagon). This turbo-four feels powerful and helps the car get faster, but the automatic speed transmission that comes standard with this engine can slow down the descent when necessary. The regex Trax models come with a high-speed automatic. The Buick Regal GS engine provides the extra muscle. This Sportback-only model has a 6-liter V6 that produces 310 horsepower and 282 pound-feet of torque.
The 2020 Regal returns EPA-averaged 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on highways, far below the average class average. The Buick Regal TourX gets a fuel economy rating of 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, while the Buick Regal GS gets 19/26 mpg city/highway. Unlike other trims, however, the 2020 Buick GS does not require premium petrol.
