The 2019 Bugatti Chiron is a two-seater sports car developed and manufactured in Molsheim, France, by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron.  The Bugatti Chiron was shown on March 1, 2016, at the Geneva Motor Show. The Bugatti Chiron 2019 model car is based on the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car. The car was named after Monegasque driver Louis Chiron. Like its predecessor, the 2019 Bugatti Veyron, the Bugatti Chiron uses a carbon fiber physique, independent suspension, and a Haldex All-wheel drive system. The 2019 Chiron is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine that produces a staggering 1,500 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. This immense power allows the Chiron to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just under 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of over 260 mph. In a world record test, the Chiron reached 400 km / h (249 mph) in 32.6 seconds, after which it needed 9.4 seconds to stop. The top speed of the Chiron is electronically limited to 420 km / h, or 233-236 miles per hour (375-380 km / h) without a key, for safety reasons, arising mainly from tires as the manufacturer has concluded that No tires currently manufactured will be able to handle the tension at the highest speed the Chiron is capable of achieving. The Bugatti Chiron’s top speed without a limiter is speculated to be 289 miles per hour (465 km / h).
