Production of the Jaguar F-Type ended in 2024, but the focus of the product in 2026 shifts to an all-new four-door electric GT inspired by the Type 00 concept. The new interior abandons the traditional F-Type cockpit, adopting a minimalist, “fun modern” aesthetic with floating metal panels and a 3.2-meter-long central copper core that divides the cabin. High-end, sensory-focused materials such as travertine and gypsum are used alongside hand-crafted brass, creating a sanctuary-like space with custom-made aromas and ambient lighting.

The 2026 GT replaces physical gauges with a glossy, curved digital display and a distinctively shaped square steering wheel.** In keeping with Jaguar’s sporting heritage, the cabin has been designed to mimic the low profile of the original F-Type; however, it now features a 2+2 seating arrangement and a new “legroom” that allows rear passengers to sit on the floor despite the battery being located under the floor. Production of the Jaguar F-Type officially ended in 2024, meaning there will be no internal combustion engine for the 2026 model year. In the top-spec “R” version, this engine produced 575 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, reaching 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. These final units represent the peak of Jaguar’s petrol-powered performance before the factory switched to a full electric range.

Jaguar is replacing the Jaguar F-Type‘s popularity in its new four-door GT model with an improved three-motor electric powertrain. Currently undergoing extensive winter testing, the Jaguar F-Type is expected to produce over 1,000 horsepower and 1,300 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Jaguar ever produced. Using two electric motors on the rear axle and one on the front axle, the system provides intelligent all-wheel drive and a range of over 692 kilometers, representing a significant increase in performance technology over its predecessor.
