The Bentley Mulsanne range is divided into three main models: Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed, and Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase (EWB). Through Bentley’s bespoke production division, Mulliner, customers can specify virtually any feature imaginable. The Extended Wheelbase model offered optional aircraft-style reclining seats and power footrests. The 2026 Bentley Mulsanne Limited Edition, known as the “Mulliner-produced 6.75 Edition,” marked the end of the model and its renowned engine.

Bentley Mulsanne : Interior

Inside, the Bentley Mulsanne interior is a masterpiece of British luxury and craftsmanship, where modern technology was skillfully blended with a natural environment. Every area was meticulously handcrafted: the highest quality leathers, available in various colours, were hand-stitched by Bentley’s masters; this process took hundreds of hours for each car. These leathers were complemented by extensive use of high-polished wood veneers such as walnut or elm, which could be customized to the owner’s preferences. The cabin boasted a luxurious feel with features such as deep lamb’s wool carpets, high-protection climate controls, and cleverly integrated technology such as an 8-inch entertainment screen and optional electric picnic tables with rear-seat entertainment connectivity.

Designed to offer unparalleled comfort, especially for rear passengers, the Mulsanne stood out with its generous dimensions and luxurious seating options. While the standard model featured seats with extensive electrical adjustment and heating, the Long Wheelbase (EWB) model took things a step further with aircraft-style reclining seats and electric footrests, transforming the rear cabin into a private resting area. Interior quietness was enhanced to dampen harsh noises and create a more peaceful environment. Optional high-end features such as a 2200-watt Naim Bentley sound system and a champagne bottle cooler with crystal glasses further emphasized the Mulsanne’s status as a special, top-of-the-line grand tourer.

Bentley Mulsanne : Engine

The Bentley Mulsanne was powered by a legendary 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that had been in continuous production for over 60 years. This engine was renowned for its high and low-rev torque, effortless acceleration, and the distinctively smooth power delivery that defined the Mulsanne’s personality. The V8 engine was a unique blend of heritage engineering and modern technology. The aluminum alloy cylinder block retained the same cylinder spacing as the original design while incorporating modern innovations such as twin turbochargers, which deactivated four of the eight cylinders under light load to improve fuel efficiency. In the standard Mulsanne, this handcrafted engine produced 505 horsepower and an impressive 1,020 Nm of torque. Each engine was meticulously assembled in approximately 30 hours by a dedicated team of technicians at the Crewe factory and signed with a nameplate bearing the manufacturer’s name as a testament to its exceptional craftsmanship.

Bentley Mulsanne : Safety

The Bentley Mulsanne incorporates a comprehensive range of active and passive safety features designed to protect occupants within its robust structure; these features combine robust engineering with advanced electronic systems. Standard safety equipment includes a full airbag system, a high-strength body structure, and advanced stability and traction control systems to maintain stability in various driving situations. Bentley also includes modern driver-assistance technologies such as adaptive cruise control, an advanced tire pressure monitoring system, and advanced braking systems (ABS, EBD, BA).  The surround view camera and parking assist provide maneuverability in tight spaces, while existing technologies such as blind spot warning and forward collision detection systems provide additional layers of protection, ensuring the 2026 Bentley Mulsanne meets stringent global safety standards appropriate to its size and weight.
