2021 Lotus Evija All-electric Supercar
The 2021 Lotus Evija is a limited electric sports car manufactured by the Lotus British carmaker. Lotus Evija aims to push the boundaries of modern Hypercar technology. While many competitors offer Hybrid powertrains, this model is fully electric and it comes with ultrafast power setup. Lotus said it plans to conduct thousands of miles of road tests for the car on its own in European schemes and Lotus in Hatel, England. Starting in August 2020, production will begin in mid-2021. Evija is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities and has an on-board modem installed that makes it easy to connect to the Lotus cloud. There is a smartphone app that allows drivers to track Evija from anywhere, check things like battery charge status and driving range.

Evija, a 70kW / h rechargeable battery developed in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering, supplies electric motors by Integral Powertrain. Four separate engines are mounted on wheels and each has a torque of 368 kW (500 PS, equivalent to 493 horsepower), a total power of 1,470 kW (2000 PS; 1,970 horsepower) and 1,700 Nm (1,254 lb⋅ft). Evija is equipped with magnesium wheels, 20 inches in diameter on the front and 21 inches on the back. The car uses Pirelli Trofeo R tires and AP Racing carbon ceramic disc brakes.
