2016 Jaguar F-Type
The 2016 Jaguar F-Type is a two-seater sports car as a Roadster or fabric over a hardtop available. Jaguar F-Type Coupe and Jaguar F-Type Convertible are available in the base, S- and R-MIC. The standard features on the Jaguar F-Type base trim includes 18-inch wheels alloy, automatic bi-xenon headlamps along washers and the LED lights, automatic wipers, power folding heated mirrors, key-less start and entry, cruise control, automatic control single zone of temperature, artificial leather and suede upholstery, interior leatherette, eight-way power seats, parameter storage driver, a column slope and telescopic steering, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, an 8-inches touchscreen navigation and audio system 12-Speaker Meridian with a CD player, auxiliary audio jack, USB / iPod interface, integration of the smartphone application, and HD and satellite radio. 2016 Jaguar F-Type Engine
The base 2015 Jaguar F-Type is powered by a turbocharged power V6 engine of 3.0 liters, producing 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. A manual gearbox with six-speed manual or optional power eight-speed automatic referral to the rear wheels. In testing, a V6 Coupe S with automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive went from zero to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds which is the respectable time, but its still slower than rivals powered six-cylinder about half a second. Jaguar believes that the F-Type S with rear-wheel drive and a manual transmission will go from zero to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds while the automatic variant, a reduction to 4.8 seconds. AWD adds approximately one tenth of a second. The F-Type S with rear-wheel drive and automatic transmission is rated by the EPA at 22 combined mpg (19/27). This sub of 1 mpg with the automatic and all-wheel drive. Manual estimates not available at the time of this writing.
2016 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe
The 2016 Jaguar F-Type R gets a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that develops 550 horsepower and 502 lb-in of torque. You can not have four-wheel drive and automatic transmission R with eight reports. Jaguar believes that the R will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The Jaguar F-Type R is rated by the EPA at 18 combined mpg (15/23).
2016 Jaguar F-Type Safety
Standard safety features on the 2016 Jaguar F-Type are anti-lock disc brakes, the stability and traction control, side airbags in the seats, rollover protection bars (only Cabriolet) mounted. Rear parking sensors are standard on the R model and optional for all other orders. Front parking sensors, a rear view camera, a blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert system are optional for all versions.
2016 Jaguar F-Type R AWD
In testing, rear-wheel drive 2016 Jaguar F-Type R coupe (which is now only available in all-wheel drive) lasted only 106 meters. That’s what we expect from a sports car with summer tires, but a V6 F-Type S with rear-wheel drive has a relatively long period of 115 feet.
