The 2020 GMC Savana is a passenger van that appreciates the use of everything else. The GMC Savana 2020 is standing in line with its 12- and 15-seat passenger seats. The heavy-duty underpinnings also mean they can tow up to 9,600 pounds. And depending on the configuration, you can take the back seats out and have 255 cubic feet of luggage space. The 2020 GMC Savana is available in 2500 and 3500 models. 2500 is a short wheelbase only, while the 3500 is available with a shorter or longer wheelbase and has a higher GVWR. The longer wheelbase also means that 3500 increases the seating capacity from 12 to 15 passengers.
2020 GMC Savana Interior
Inside, GMC Savana the benefits of any van passenger in addition to the traditional SUV is the vast amount of interior space offered. In standard format, all vans come with seating for 12 people, but extended cab models can hold 15. Previously, residents received 40.9 inches of headroom and 41.3 inches of legroom. The front shoulder room and the front hip room come in at 68.9 / 65.5 inches, respectively. In the second row, you get 38.4 inches of headroom and 36.3 inches of legroom. Third-row occupants receive 38.5 inches of headroom and 36.6 inches of legroom. All the way back, riders on the fourth line narrowed slightly with 38.3 inches of headroom and 36.6 inches of legroom. The front seats come standard on vinyl but can be upgraded for cloth at a price.
2020 GMC Savana Engine
The wide range of engines and transmission offers on the Savana Passenger Van. The basic engine of 2020 is a 4.3-liter V6 engine that produces 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque. Next up is the optional 2.8-liter Duramax turbo-diesel four-cylinder that produces a 181 hp low-speed engine, but makes it at 369 lb-ft of torque available only at 2,000-rpm. The diesel engine also gets the automation of the 8-automatic transmission, combined with the base V6.
Two types of V8 engines are offered; the only 6.0-liter Vortec gasoline engine produces 341 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque, and a powerful CNG / LPG version with solid valves and valve seats. The V8 option is obviously more powerful, but comes with a pull; it will suck your wallet thanks to its bad oil economy. The standard speed transmission is available as standard on the V8, while other engines do it with an eight-speed slicker. Higher drag rates stretch between 6,700 lbs and 9,200 lbs, aided by Savana’s strong RWD platform.
2020 GMC Savana Safety
GMC rider Sahara Passenger has not been fully tested by NHTSA or IIHS, but as they say, the lack, NHTSA only tested the van in the rollover tests, where it received three out of five stars. The standard safety equipment at Savana includes six airbags, steel barrel lines, and pre-collision alert, keyless entry, and traffic warning, which are standard on LT models.
