The Dodge Demon was presented at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, and was considered for production. Dodge Demon 2017 model is designed to compete with cars like the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky and Mazda Miata. Unlike many other concept cars, the materials and design of the devil’s construction was such that production would be feasible.
The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT® Demon is designed to be an elite performance machine. This is why it is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter SRT HEMI® V8 engine and armored scooped daemon with functional air hood and Grabber™ launches a torque reserve system. The 2018 Demon SRT is more powerful and the more extreme Challenger. Promoting the demon, Dodge had thrown videos on their performance, power, aerodynamics, etc. He debuted during the New York Auto Show 2017 in April.
Like the Hellcat SRT, Dodge Demon comes with two red and black buttons, with black door that limits power to 500 horsepower. With the red key and use 100+ octane gasoline, the devil can reach full power. To know the interior characteristics originally, it only offers a driver’s seat, but for $1.00 each, the passenger and the rear seats can be added. Only 3.300 SRT demons, whose production will start in the summer of 2017 and be launched in the fall of 2017 will be held, and should be priced below $ 100,000, according to Tim Kuniskis said.
2018 Dodge Demon Interior
Inside, Dodge Demon interior is the same as all other Challenger quarters, but with changes that differentiate to other parameters. The demon includes only a front driver’s seat number, as well as any other front or rear seat in the vehicle. However, the front passenger seat and a rear seat can be added as an option for one dollar each. To replace the rear seats, Dodge includes rear roll bars, and has a 4-point harness installed on it for the driver’s seat. 2018 Dodge Demon Engine
The demon uses a new 6.2-liter V8 equipped with a 2.7-liter supercharger that emits 808 horsepower (603 kW, 819 PS) with 91 RON and 840 HP (626 kW, 852 PS) with 100 Octane rating of fuel O plus (both outputs are with the red button). The torque is 1,070 N.m (770 lb-ft) with 100 octane fuel. The Dodge Demon weighs 98 kg (215 lbs) unless the Hellcat, the total is 1,930 kg (4254 lbs). The car will use a set of road tires Nitto tires, called NT05R.
The tires are 315 / 40R18 variations at the front and rear. The tires are intended for the drag band, but they have enough footprint to make it legal for the road. This tire, despite being an NT05R with pneumatic consumption is a variant built specifically to support the power demon. This makes the 2018 Dodge Demon SRT is the first production car containing a set of radial road tires.
