The front view is acceptable, although by going to your residence you may find some of your views are restricted by part of the front pillar and ceilings. If your seat is too low, for example, you will sit almost like a central pillar, creating a small blindspot. Despite the small backdrop windows that are ready, back-to-back visibility is sufficient. The large rear pillars also create large blind spots, but the side mirrors give a good idea of what’s behind you.
2020 Citroen C4 Interior
The Citroen C4 Cactus requires you to update its idle driving position. Like many of its rivals, it has both heights and achieves adjustable steering wheel and lumbar support as usual. However, you sit too low on the soft ‘Comfort Comfort’ seats, your thighs are still high, due to the base of the seat. Whatever 2020 C4 Cactus you use, get a decent 7.0in touch screen system that includes DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink smartphone mirroring. It’s easy to use, but not the setup answer we found.
In particular, the buttons on the base of the black bezel around it may require a few prods before turning, making the system tricky to use if you just want to change the display while driving. As well as media and thermal functions, the touchscreen provides computerized readability and smoothness of functions such as integrated calculations.
E2020 Citroen C4 Engine
The favorite engine is the 109bhp 1.2 turbo petrol badged Puretech 110; it takes eagerly from low revs and does not make sense for hard work, even though there is a power burn in the mid-rev range. That engine is also offered in low-power form, with an 82-lap badge. This version produces 81bhp and is tolerable in the city, but feels a bit out of place. Thanks for the turbo omission for that.
The 1.2 liters C4 Cactus petrol engines are also disappointing because they all sound powerless when they work hard and send occasional shivers in their shoes. Thankfully, the sound of the road is well divided, despite the cold air of the road. Some drivers may struggle to get used to the initial sharp response of resistance when pressing the center pedal – something that can make the C4 Cactus a little jerky at low speeds. At least the sound and air and the road are well contained.
2020 Citroen C4 Safety
Every version comes with a host of standard safety kits, including six airbags, stiffness control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. This helped the C4 Cactus earn four (five out of five) stars in its Euro NCAP test in 2014. It has been given 82% for adult protection, 78% for child protection and 80% for foot protection. Just remember that both Volkswagen Golf and Skoda Octavia carry five full stars. Choose Flair trim and you get active safety features including automatic emergency, cruise warning, and driver alert crowd. Thatcham Research has given 2020 Citroen C4 Cactus four out of five security guards for theft and a little disappointing for three out of five for resisting the violation, the space-saving wheel is standard.
