The 2022 BMW X1 xDrive28i is a subcompact luxury SUV line produced by BMW. The BMW X1 2022 is the smallest off-roader in the BMW lineup under the BMW X3, targeting a wide range of buyers due to its small size, increased efficiency, and optional all-wheel drive (xDrive). The second-generation X1 BMW 2 Series marked the transition to a front-wheel-drive platform used in conjunction with the Active Tourer and Mini Countryman. Despite its name, it is currently the second smallest SUV produced by BMW since the X2 appeared.
The BMW X1 was the first generation model and incipiently presented as the BMW Concept X1 at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The X1 is the first BMW X series available in sDrive trim, was not introduced to the United States until 2012. In 2013, the E84 X1 made a facelift with a redesigned exterior and interior design elements, as well as integrating BMW Efficient Dynamics into all models.
BMW X1 is built on the front-wheel-drive UKL2 platform and is available in long-wheel and long-wheel hybrid variants in China. This turbo consists of 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engine options. The base models are available as front wheels (sDrive brand), full wheels (xDrive) as an option and are standard for some high-end models.
2022 BMW X1 : Interior
The interior of the 2022 X1 is mostly well equipped with high quality materials. The Cockpit X1 is sporty and has a driver-oriented layout. Looking at the drive is a business-scale cluster, it looks elegant and is easy to read at a glance. The driving position is excellent, although the steering wheel adjustment can use more range of motion in both angles and reach. The cargo area is carpeted, chrome-plated and cavernous.
The 2022 X1’s standard entertainment system is intuitive and works easily while traveling, but may be a bit outdated. The 8.8-inch iDrive system is equipped with fast navigation, features and controls for front and center positioning, as well as Dakota leather upholstery designed for your comfort and convenience in any driving experience. Thanks to Apple CarPlay®, you can connect your smartphone to BMW wirelessly. Enjoy access to your content through the central data display, tool cluster, and optional Head-up Display. To control all of this, BMW offers a rotary knob that sits comfortably under the driver’s right hand on the center console. The controller is wrapped with shortcut buttons for phone, nav and other features.
2022 BMW X1 : Engine
The BMW X1 is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 228 horsepower combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The turbocharged four provides a large amount of pep, as well as increasing fuel efficiency.
