The 2020 Bentley GT (Continental GT) is the option chosen by players and CEOs for more than a decade and the 2020 model. The Continental GT, which is offered in coupe and convertible, initiated the resurgence of the Bentley brand and has succeeded where other two-door luxury falls have failed to maintain the interest of the buying public. It is the elegant and elegant interiors and elegant design of Continental that stand out as the main attractions of the model.
Interestingly, prefer the cheapest of the four fairly expensive models of the 2020 Bentley Continental GT, the Continental GT V8 coupe. The V-8 is a finely polished gem of an engine that gives the W-12 maximum power but makes it a coupe so fast in real conditions. It is only at very high speeds that the greater power of the W-12 engine makes the difference. And, although we like the wind in our hair as much as the next one, we would choose the coupe because, in our opinion, the arched roof line unites the style of the car in a truly elegant way.
2020 Bentley GT Interior
The interior is covered in aromatic leather and clad in precious wood, and almost everything about the Continental GT is customizable, for a price. Bentley designers have thought of everything, and each time he is behind the wheel reveals a surprising detail, like the knurled control knobs by experts and the seat moldings with double stitching and diamond stamping. Although the Continental GT technically has seat belts for four occupants, we suggest avoiding using the rear seat to transport people, as its leg and headspace is limited. During tests, we were able to place five handbags in the trunk of the Continental: plenty of space for a weekend with your favorite travel companion.
A 12.3-inch infotainment screen dominates the board and can be rotated from its hidden location behind three small analog indicators that show outside air temperature, time and a compass. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features are standard, as is a digital display that allows the driver to control most of the functions of the Continental GT using the steering wheel controls. The Bentley Continental GT offers two optional audio systems: a $ 6,700 Bang & Olufsen arrangement and a truly spectacular $8,800 Naim system.
2020 Bentley GT Engine
The updated versions of the existing V-8 and W-12 engines that powered the previous generation Continental GT provide sufficient power. Our tests revealed that the V-8, which produces 542 horsepower, can launch the Continental coupe at 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. The most expensive W-12 engine produces 626 horsepower and can motivate a coupe at 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. Both use a new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that adapts to super-fast but smooth gear changes. Coupes and convertibles can be ordered with any engine. All Continental GTs are equipped with a standard all-wheel-drive system.
When a double turbo V8 is the most efficient in terms of fuel consumption of the two engines offered in a particular model, you know that the mpg is not the most important thing for a car manufacturer or its customers, for that matter. The EPA rates the Continental V-8 at 16 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway. In our real-world tests, we average 28 mpg on a V-8 model in over 200 miles of highway driving.
2020 Bentley GT Safety
This vehicle has not been evaluated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Road Safety Insurance Institute (IIHS). Bentley offers driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, a night vision system and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, which we expect to see as standard, considering the price initial high. The key 2020 Bentley GT safety features include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with lane maintenance assistance, adaptive cruise control
