2018 Audi A5

2018 Audi A5 is a sports car by German car manufacturer Audi, based in Ingolstadt, production takes place since 2007. 2018 Audi A5 is produced as a two-door coupe, two-door convertible, and four-door Sportback. There is also sports version of the Audi S5 and Audi RS5. 2018 Audi A5 is a four-seater with longitudinal front engine available with front-wheel and four-wheels. Some rivals are the Audi A5 BMW 3 Series Coupe, the Mercedes-Benz C-Coupe, and E Coupe. The A5 was nominated for the prize World Car of the Year 2008 and was shortlisted for the version S5 Sports Car of the Year award 2008.

The 2018 Audi A5 uses the modular longitudinal platform Audi, the same as the 4th-generation Audi A4 and use the Audi A6 fourth generation and the Audi A8 third generation. It was officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2007 with bodywork coupe “A5 Coupe (8T3)” A variant convertible with a canvas roof called A5 Cabriolet began selling in early 2009, replacing the A4 Cabrio. A third body liftback 5-door, four-seater also be officially presented at the International Motor Show Germany 2009 under the designation A5 Sportback and went on sale later that year.

The A5 Coupe Aluminum is a prototype vehicle that demonstrates the concept of Aluminum Audi Space Frame (ASF). It is based on the Audi A5 Coupe 2.0 TFSI with 155 kW (211 PS, 208 hp) engine, but uses the Audi Audi Space Frame (aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastic body) also punch rivet, union or Laser-MIG Hybrid welding replaced spot welding.
